The lineup for the 2009 Outside Lands Music festival in San Francisco has been announced. I'm already over it. Really, if you are still excited to see Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews Band, do us all a favor and get alcohol poisoning at your next frat party. Just, ew.

Headliners are Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and the Beastie Boys. Incubus, Black Eyes Peas, M.I.A., The Mars Volta, Modest Mouse (for real, every time I've seen them I have yawned at least twice), Thievery Corporation and Jason Mraz are also playing.

If you're still awake after that lineup, you can see the rest of the bands on the Outside Lands website. The festival takes place August 28th, 29th and 30th. It's a good idea to make other plans now.

The website for San Francisco's Treasure Island Music Festival had been updated with dates for 2009. Keep October 17th and 18th open. Though no acts have been announced, there is a clicky box where you can enter your email and get show updates. Hoo-ray!

Last year's TIMF included Justice, Tegan and Sara, The Raconteurs, Goldfrapp and Vampire Weekend.

Last night, former actor Gladiator actor and current insane man, Joaquin Phoenix jumped into the crowd at a hip hop show in Miami and attacked a fan. 34 year old Joaquin took the stage a little after 2AM at a night club inside the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami. According to a couple of sources a man in the audience started heckling and Joaquin said "We've got a bitch in the audience" before jumping down to confront the guy.

Bouncers broke up the fight and Joaquin's brother-in-law Casey Affleck caught the whole thing with his video camera. The fact that Casey is there filming Joaquin's every move has fueled rumors that this whole hip-hop performance thing is nothing but a huge joke being filmed for a documentary.

Here's a little video of Britney Spears on her Circus tour in Tampa. Apparently there was some sort of wardrobe malfunction, because she announced to someone backstage, and inadvertently the entire audience, that her pussy was hanging out. Oh that's a direct quote. Check it out for yourself.

Amy Winehouse's planned appearance at Coachella music festival in Southern California this April has been canceled. The "Back To Black" singer failed to secure a work visa and a statement from her spokesman to the Mirror confirmed that she's not coming to America next month. "She is not appearing at Coachella this year in the light of current legal issues."

Amy would have been the second billed headliner at Saturday's Coachella, on the main stage just before The Killers and melting my little black heart in the process. As of right now, Amy hasn't been taken off the lineup on Coachella's official website.

Sniff sniff, so sad. I love that little crack head. :(

Even though Langaredo Music Festival was canceled and Coachella in Southern California is going to kick lots and lots of ass, that doesn't stop Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee from trying. The 2009 lineup was announced, and if you are a Bruce Springsteen fan (Mom, I'm looking at you!) then you are in luck.

I'm not sure what kind of crowd they are trying to attract with Phish, Nine Inch Nails, Snoop Dogg and Merle Haggard on the ticket, but hey, let's give them an A for effort. If you happen to be in Tennessee June 11-14, 2009, happen to have an extra $224.50 (plus fees!) laying around and happen to be a huge fan of eclectic lineups then, hey!, here you go.

Tickets go on sale Saturday February 7th.

If you live in a cool city in North America, you will soon be able to cross "See Lily Allen Live" off your to-do list. Not if you live in Florida though, maybe next time guys! She has some tour dates listed on her myspace, and lucky me, she's coming to San Francisco. "The Fear" is so good, I can't stand it.

The 2009 Coachella music festival lineup which takes place in Southern California every year was just announced. Highlights include Morrissey on Friday followed by headliner Sir Paul McCartney, Amy Winehouse (omg, omg, omg, omg!!!) followed by headliners The Killers on Saturday and Amanda Palmer, Lupe Fiasco and Perry Farrell followed by headliners The Cure on Sunday. I just died and went to musical heaven.
